Winter pansies are the main item in this range, and are produced in both packs and pots. Over the years we have gained a reputation for growing some of the best pansies available.
Our standard packs are all mixed colours. Our pots, however, are produced in mixed and separate colours.
Our pansies start life as plugs and are potted, by means of our Automatic Transplanting machine, into 9cm pots and packs. They are then placed in one of our many polytunnels for three weeks until they are established, when they are then moved outside to grow on ready for sale.
We grow two varieties of pansy for the winter market, Mariposa (Mixed and Single Colour) and Delta (Mixed Colours). Mariposa has a naturally compact habit and produces early and more abundant flowers than Delta. Pansies are without doubt the best winter flowering plant on the market today.
We also grow other Winter Plants including Primrose, Polyanthus and Bellis. Also a range of other winter plants and shrubs for winter planting including Heather, Ivy & Skimmia.
